The two are sizzling and the story is a truly electrifying from start to finish. This book reads like a much expanded article in a popular military history magazine, in a good way, the language is plain and direct, and avoids military jargon. I have read the mortal instruments and infernal devices and expected to be disappointed. It's not a light read and it's not meant to be.
